Laptops Buying Ram (Newegg "Memory Configurator" -- Reliable??)

Have Dell inspiron 5160 with 256mb ram. Going to upgrade to 2gb.

Have used Newegg's Memory Configurator to select compatible DDR ram. Is it reliable...?
Also need suggestions on which one should i purchase....

dont know about newegg's memory configurator but crucial's is reliable...

go to Crucial.com and choose ur laptop from the dropdowns...u will get the compatible RAMs info there...from what i understand, u will need 2 modules of 1GB each...one slot in ur lappy can support only 1GB max...here is the info from corsair for ur lappy...

Inspiron 5160 RAM Details ofcourse crucial's RAM will be costlier than the alternatives but gives u the headstart...with these details u can go for the cheaper ones...
