Buying Room Heater

looking for room heater. room size 10*12.

can some one suggest me reliable and safe one..have a baby in house.

Bought an Orpat http://www.amazon.in/Orpat-OEH-1220-2000-Watt-Element-Heater/dp/B00B7GHQQW/ off Amazon.in, the weather isn't cool enough to use at this time, but will be useful in the winter. It's got a covered grille.

This type of heaters heat the room by creating hot currents and are oil based and consume less power. the Fan&Element type of heaters are not as efficient as these and also cause dry skin.
many people here prefer the oil based heaters over the element based ones.

The fins only get warm, not hot. you can actually touch them. safer than the fan type.

I have seen some people even dry clothes on them
I had used an Usha, which is still working after ~10 years. Only one thing you need to take care when the coils are exposed, ensure that the door of the room is kept slightly open. Don't bolt it close.
