Vaio CS14 C2D / T5900/ 2GB/ 250GB/ 14"/ VHP, Price~47k

HP Pavillion- DV5-1104TU- C2D/ T5800/ 3GB/ 250GB/ 15"/ VISTA BASIC/ FPR, Price~ 47k

Which of the above laptops would be best?

For your use, they are all overkill man :P Just get the cheapest ;)
 
Please suggest some cheapest model then.

Also, how much does original OS from outside cost, both XP & Vista?

I meant cheapest from the ones you are looking at ;)

Else, try the inspiron 1410, 1525 etc. all <40k :P
 
On your suggestion to go in for a cheaper one, I saw a Toshiba Laptop:

SAT M300-D4310- C2D T5550/ 2GB/ 160GB/ 14.1"/ BT/ WIFI/ VHP.

Costs ~ 42k + 1500 for 3 yrs warranty.

How is this lappy?

C2D/ 3GB/ 320GB/ 15.4"/ Nvidia graphics/ FPR/ VHP.

Now that I've bought a laptop, please suggest me some good accessories for the lappy.
-Mouse- optical/laser/bluetooth, which one?
-Headphones + mic. - bluetooth/wireless, which ones?
-Laptop cleaning kit
-what other imp. accessories?

Please mention models with prices!

Congrats man. THo my dealer was giving it for around 67-68k or lower i think. shud ve asked them to reduce price n keep camera ;) else just sell off the camera :) == Cheaper laptop cost :D

Anyway one more query, how to check the battery provided is original/new?

No way for that I guess. It should be mentioned on ur bill. Theres usually a limited warranty on the batt so they have to keep track of it as well :)

Hi guys, as I was a little cynacie about the battery condition of my laptop as I bought the laptop in unsealed condition. So, yesterday finally, I was able to convince the dealer to change the battery to a new one, Now Im happy.

Also bought new wireless keyboard & mouse for my laptop.
Please suggest some good wireless headphones/ mic. too?

There's another issue, I don't know whether my laptop has FM Tuner or not! Most probably its not there, but is there some way to listen to FM on the laptop?

Hi guys, Im getting a 1/2 year warranty upgrade for my laptop from HP for 4500/5500k/- respectively, is it a good deal, should I go in for it?

Also, should I get the warranty extention from HP Directly or through the local dealer?
