Max Budget is 8k.

@Moderators. I have started another thread for the cabinet but since this involves 2 new requirements i started a new thread so that it may help anyone who is looking to buy the same combo. Am a newbie so plzz guide.

Oops...forgot to mention my specs. I will be using a Phenom X3 720 BE on a Gigabyte 785GMT-UD2H microatx board which has a AM3 socket. So, please guide accordingly. Thank you !!

you could go for coolermaster cm690 cabby for 4.2k

and sunbeam ccf 120mm cpucooler for 2.1k

and i think u will get enough 120mm fans with cm690

The 120 mm fans that come with CM cabinets are rubbish. This is what I propose...I had this combo and it worked amazingly well.

1. CM 590 cabinet - way better and more practicle than cm690, and will also hold larger graphics cards...its going out of production so get it soon - 3.5-3.8k

2. OCZ Vendetta 2 cpu cooler...comes with a good fan and useless thermal paste. Also the mounting method is way easier and better than ccf. - 2.5k

3. Get 4 R4 CM fans...pushes a lot of air for the cost. and are relitevly silent. Two go up top. One for the rear and one for the side panel bottom. U can sue the blue led one which comes with the cabinet for the fron for your HDD cage. - 4X450

There u go.

Hey thanks mav2000 for ur prompt reply. A few questions.
1)Does CM 590 provide good ample cable management. Or is Antec 300 a better choice. Antec 300 is priced at 3.9k here at Lamington Road. Any idea how much will the CM 590 cost?
2)Can u please provide more details about the case fans...i mean R4 stands for???
3)Is OCZ Vendetta available locally? I got an offer for ccf90mm for 1.9k?
4)Is there anyway i can get all of these within 8k by ordering online ?

Yes, get these fans. I have R4 fans running in my HAF 932 and CM690 cabby's and they blow in a lot of air.

Coolermaster model r4...ask for the blue LED 90 CFM ones...r4 will be written in the first two numbers of the code of the model number, ON the fan.

CM 590 is much better for cable management as compared to Antec 300. Antec 300 has a better build and better fans, but the cable management sucks big time. Also u will not abe able to fit larger graphics cards in the 300.

OCZ V2, in my opinion is one of the best for dual and tri core systems. It will even beat the SCCF 120mm, so the 92 mm is totally out of the equation. If u dont plan to oevrclock, then buy one more fan for the top side panel and leave the stock cooler with the cpu, will be enough.

Max u will get stable on the 720 is around 3.6 3 hours prime with air cooling and it will not make much of a difference in day to day usage. I would suggest u keep it at 3 Ghz and stock volts and use stock cooling instead.

Thnx for the reply. Repped you lol. See i mainly plan to use my system for gaming plus moderate surfing and other normal work like watching movies etc. So, i probably won't be overclocking my cpu. But will definitely add a good GPU later on. So i just wanted to make sure that my System remains cool throughout without any heating problems. So, i guess what ur suggesting is to go with the stock cooler and mebbe get a better case like CM 590 along with the R4 case fans...Ryt??
Another Question: IS THERE A WAY TO MOD THE CM590 TO GET A RESET BUTTON ON IT? COS I USED THE RESET BUTTON A LOT OF TIMES IN MY OLD SYSTEM. WONT BE NEEDING IT ON MY NEW RIG BUT JUST IN CASE. DO YOU HAVE ANY LINK FOR IT ?

Reset button is not of muchh help unless u plan to overclock a lot and it hangs because of that...otherwise its useless...dont worry about it too much.

Btw is the OCZ Vendetta 2 easy to mount onto an AM3 board??? And will it fit a CM590? Hey also what is ur opinion on the Coolermaster Elite 335 cabinet? Is it good ?

Hi,I have searched a lot to buy this cm 590....do u know any shops selling this cabby?

Hey guys finally i purchased the new cabinet and case fan. Cabinet is Chieftec BH 02 BB SL since they don't have cm590 anymore. I saw a CM Gladiator but i really did not like it. Here's the link for the cabinet i bought

BH02

I got the CoolerMaster R4 90 CFM fans for the rear of the cabinet.

The cabinet also has 4 other 90 mm slots. So, please suggest me some good 90 mm fans. I searched throughout Lamington Road and no one seems to have 90 mm fans. All they have is the local fans not even amigo ones. However, PrimeABGB showed me some 90 mm fans ie. Scythe Minebea .

Newegg.com - Scythe Minebea NMB Silent IC Series 3610KL-04W-B29-F51 92mm Case Fan - Case Fans

But i was unsure since i had not heard about them. So, guys please suggest some good 90 mm fans and where to get them from? Also, if someone can actually have a look at my cabinet specs and lemme how to arrange the fans appropriately to make sure there is a good airflow, it will be highly appreciated. Thank you !!
