:Hi: Guys as the title suggests this is abt the nocturnal world of Call Centres .........And Soon I think I will also be joining this nocturnal world:hap2:......Ya I know that this is not a nocturnal world and tat there r also Morning shifts but I am keen on joining a night shift call centre.....:devil2:

As my exams:brevet: are stated 2 end on 5th of this month:clap: ......I am thinking of increasing my pocket money for atleast one month by joining a call centre.....:yahoo: :yahoo:

Actually I want to know more abt Call Centres frm U guys......coz I dont know much:noob: expect tat these customer care kinda offices were queries r cleared:cool2: ...and the minimum edu qualifications required is HSC pass...is tat rgt....

So guys at TE could :help: me out.....:huh:

It would be nice if u guys could give me some tips before enetering this nocturnal world and also how this all works......:D

And also plzzz plzzz tell me abt some call centre ....in areas like Navi Mumbai,Chembur,Deonar.......:juggle: and also tell me abt some call centres who offer free pickup then i would sure go there also if they r far....:jumpy:

So guys :please: :help: me........:)
 
Hmm if you know basics of computer, which I reckon you must be if you visit TE regularly, join a call center in the tech support division. There are many call centres at Vikhroli area, accenture, gordej lawkins, and convergys at Thane etc. Most of the good ones will offer free pickup at nights etc. For more info you can contact HR consultants they have loads of opening at call centers, I would know cause I worked 1 yr in the HR dept ;)...
 
chembur???...i guess the nearest one will b powai.........my frnd is working there in zenta or something....bus comes to pickup ...at ard 12 night...he comes bak at morning at ard 10
 
well dont ever tell them that you want to work for just a month or two.. they will not take you.
 
I think its very wrong for you to join just for a month or 2, since you will spend a month easily in training..maybe more. Its just wrong to go there to just increase some pocket money..
 
Damn even i was thinkin of joining one...coz i want to make my rig better :P...i guess not enough places in coimbatore anyway and i guess they do let people work for 2 months or so..1 month i have my own doubts..coz i heard of a guy here who did it for 2 months when he had hols in between semesters...

btw call centres are man power heavy jobs.. they cant be automated..so i guess ppl are welcome to join..but i guess it should at least be for 2 months..coz 1 month like posted earlier will be required for training
 
hi to all fellow buddies,

this is my post after a long time (four days is a long time for me) and wanted to share some happy news with my fellow TE buddies.....i was on a job hunting trip to the NCR....finally got one at HCL, Noida as a Tech Support Officer. will be joining there from Monday. since there was already a thread on call center, didn't wanna create a new one. TE has been lucky for me, all the guys here have been nice and supportive to me. i guess i won't be able to access TE regularly from now on. but i would try my best to do so. i would miss all of u buddies out there. in the mean time keep up the good work on TE. i will be in NOIDA. so anybody who is there in NOIDA or NCR (SWITCH is the only one i know who is based in NOIDA) can mail me on manishnair123@gmail.com or manishnair123@hotmail.com or manishnair123@yahoo.co.in so that we could hopefully meet. BTW i am looking forward to the next TE meet in NCR.
