Call of Duty: World at War

Treyarch has revealed details on Call of Duty: World at War, previously known as Call of Duty 5. Unlike Call of Duty 1, 2 and 4, which were developed by Infinity Ward, World at War is being developed by Treyarch, the developer of Call of Duty 3, and will return The FPS franchise to its WWII roots.

The setting has changed tho, at that post's time it was planned to be more modern warfare, now its back to WW2 albeit with the CoD4 engine

The 'World at War' version will be ONLY console, like some older COD titles

COD 5 linked above will be for PC.

haven't we already had enough wwII shooters already ? I guess avid gamers would know enough of wwII history by now to challange history experts ......who says games aren't academically helpful ?

Seriously though, the Idea of another WWII shooter doesn't really inspire me any more. ( and I have been a very casual gamer)

Hell no, WWII FPS games, the decent ones atleast like COD2 are amazing to play, i would love to have another COD with WWII background:hap2:
