These tiny SEA countries receive a lot of migrants from India and just proceed to exploit them. I was on an Indigo flight to Bangkok once that was full of daily wage laborers from TN, none of them could even spell their names on the entry card. I saw them all get rounded up as soon as we landed at BKK airport, no idea what happened after that. The obvious answer would be deportation but it seems odd to fly into a country with no documents just to get deported back home. I remember thinking there must have been some shadier stuff going on.
 
Apparently, many of IT aware youngsters were scammed, enslaved and tortured by Chinese mafia.
Several hundreds from Kerala, but ~5000 Indians in such countries in suspicious situations.
