camera ~20k range

Hi guys,
I am planning to buy a camera for a price range of around 20k for my trip to mauritius . Am willing to spend slightly more if required .
Requirements : Not too complicated . Not an avid camera user .
Cameras considering right now :
Nikon Coolpix P500 Point & Shoot
Nikon Coolpix P510 Point & Shoot
Canon EOS 1100D SLR ( i know i said not too complicated , but just wanted to check if the quality will be a vast improvement over the top two)
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ60 Point & Shoot

What do you currently use and when is your trip?

1) Avoid an SLR because they have a steep learning curve. Ideally you would want to buy it and use it for 4-6 months before you take it for a trip.
2) What do you look for in a camera? long zoom range? or good quality pictures, especially in low light.

For the former, you can look at the panasonic fz60, for the latter, the canon s95/100/110, panasonic lx5/7 or the olympus xz-1/2
Usually you get older versions on the cheap and they offer the best value.
 
Dude camera you have listed have zoom ranging from x5 - x24 i suppose.
Decide what is more important...you want a megazoom or a normal zoom cam with a good picture quality !!
