I havent yet seen a laptop SATA drive and how its connectors would be

I need to know if I can use the 2.5 sata laptop drive directly for PC, just like a 3.5 one

I need such a drive as a backup for OS and everything else, if my only internal drive fails and goes for RMA (god forbid)
