Can a MicroSDHC 4GB be read in Nokia 3110 classis

I've bought a Nokia 3110 classic for my dad. According this site, only upto 2GB microSD card could be supported by phone.

Now my question is whether this could fit the phone

There's no mention of microSDHC support(always mentioned if supported) for the Nokia 3110 Classic...

So stick to the generic microSD card.

SD cards are backward compatible with SDHC supported devices but not the same for SDHC !

The hardware needs to specifically support the same.
