Can Acer Iconica W500 replace my 3 year old Sony Vaio SZ Series(C2D)

Can W500 replace a laptop ? Usage sometimes can be very heavy :) Something like running Oracle WebLogic Server for sometime.
 
Not sure if the 1GHz proccy has enough juice to run Oracle Weblogic Server properly...the other specs look good on paper but real world performance may not be as good...
 
NO!!!! Its a tablet meant for casual use. It just won't compare to even a 3 year old C2D system.

How much did you pay for your SZ ? :)
 
Hmmm. It was around 1.1L then I think with an extra battery.

How is the performance of Intel® Core™ i3-380UM Processor (3M Cache, 1.33 GHz) as compared to Intel Core 2 Duo 2.20 GHz.
 
It is close to around 25% slower on average than Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 Ghz (T7500 I am guessing ?) Which laptop is this that you are looking at ? Sony Vaio YA ?
