HI TE,
I have a bsnl broadband ADSL2+modem+Router with 512kbps speed, i want to know that can its connection be doubled by bridging the connections or by any other way? if any one has tried this experiment and what was its result please let me know or is it possible or not? and is there any need of some more other instrument?

In software terms:-

Normally you can do this in linux with two lan cards.(don't remember now)

In hardware terms:-

You can use load balancing router that has two wan ports which can combine as well as automatic switching of wan port on failure of one connection.

Yeah dear !!
If i hav understood ur problem as it is then the possible solution is there else please forgive..!!
we can bridge or double many high speed internet connection but not slow dial-up ones...!!

Of course its easy .... but there r certain necessary conditions for it :

cndtn 1). The internet connection u need to bridge should be of high speed (ie. through LAN or Wi-Fi) and not any dial-up connection!! (BSNL broadband works well !!!)

cndtn 2). Bridging (also sharing option is available in properties in win OS) can be done if two netwrok cards exits on any windows network as ...
(i.e.) between wifi & Lan
or between Lan & Wifi..
also iff u hav two LAN cards or two Wi-Fi device .. (then only!!!)
btwn wifi 1 & wifi 2
or btwn LAN 1 7 LAN 2

We can access Internet from either of the the available cards mentioned above and bridge it with the remaining ones.

Also if we need to hav private sharing/bridging of internet then we an "ad-hoc" wifi connection is created (see windows help and support center) manually or LAN or WLAN(wireless) is configured manually, ...... and then bridged/shared !!!

I hav practical experience of bridging/sharing my colleges private protected wi-fi to my friends laptop or desktop using all the above possible configuration...!!! It really works... !!

Hope it will work for BSNL also ...!!
Enjoy freind.:hap2:
Thanks for haivng faith
