PC Peripherals Can Cooler Master eXtreme Power 500W handle my rig ?

I have a Cooler Master 500W PSU. Can it handle the following Rig
Processor: Intel Core i-5 750
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2
GPU: 4890 MSI 1Gb
Harddisk Seagate 1tb

Wats the exact model of your power supply ? If its Extreme power or Extreme Power plus, then you need to upgrade your powersupply. If its Silent Pro or Real Power 500W, then you are fine !

it might handle it......but why risk 4890 on something which can blow.

And if u need to blow tht just press tht button behind the PSU.....its guaranteed to blast......I have experience doing that:eek:hyeah:

A FSP 500 @ 3.5k or RP 460w with 5 yrs warranty would be better

Its nowhere given in SMPS. The product no is Rs-500-PCAR-A3. when i googled it says COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power Plus.

Bought it for around 3.5k juz 1.5 yrs back.How much can sell it for?

What's the warranty period? 1.8~2k sounds about just right but may even go down depending on the warranty.

Let us know your budget and we'll suggest you a suitable power supply. :)

Sell it for around 1k or more I guess...
Buy a new PSU, minimum Corsair VX450W @ 4.1k or GlacialPower 650W @ 4.6k

Alternatively, u can buy Corsair VX550W @ 5.8k
