can firefox be protected with a master password, which prompts when u run the browser, i have a lot of bookmarks, auto passwords for quite a lot of websites and stuff.i dont wanna keep deleting history, cache and cookies all the time.

but my system is used by multiple people.

so am looking for a browser with prompts

something similiar to windows profile users.

You can use maxthon and maintain individual as well as guest profiles in that.

Maxthon is a very light browser which stores the password of the site you want by pressing alt+1 before you login.

the profile thing is actually a better idea, but incase you just want to set a master password which only protects your autofills, go to Options ->Security and tick 'Use Master Password'. This will prompt you for a password as soon as you open firefox. If it is not entered, then the password promt comes again whenever you navigate to a page with an autofilled password field. It will be a pain in the ass for the other users though, hence its better to use the profiles as shailesh mentioned.
