CPU/Mobo Can I install Athlon x2 4600+ heatsink on Phenom II x3

Hi Guys,

I recently have gotten a Phenom II x3 through my bro from US. Unfortunately the procc. didn't came with a heatsink/fan...
I have my Athlon x2 4600+ heatsink/fan combo lying with me (which I'm upgrading) and mounting system of both the procc is same...can I use that one with it, as I don't intend to OC it...

I'm aware the TDP of phenom II is 95W while athlon x2 was 65W, so what do u guys think, will I be ok with that heatsink as I don't want to spend money purchasing new hs for pII?

u can use stock fan from athlon no problem :)

btw first you need you update bios for support x.3 which motherboard are u using now ;)
 
I have gigabyte nf6100 based am2 mobo...but there is BIOS update available for enabling am2+ support...
