PC Peripherals Can I place UPS over Cabinet (top) Surface?

Hello Friends,

Little query about placement of UPS. Due to PC position there is no space for UPS, so can I put UPS over Cabinet Surface?

Please suggest.

I dont think there is any harm in placing the UPS over cabinet. But see that the UPS is of light weight one and the cabinet is sturdy. If you are not bothered about the scraches which may be caused by doing so then you can go ahead...
 
I don't like the sound of this, I think the cabinet top might capsize and cause damage to the components inside, would not recommend such a setup under any circumstances.
