Can I use AC stabilizer for refrigerator?

It will work, but will be overkill. Fridges usually have a fairly low power consumption of around 200W. Your stabiliser will have its own losses which at low loads will make it inefficient.
 
You can. I too had one. Did a study at that time to see how to put it to use. I had checked out V-Guard range - the specs are identical for AC & fridges.
 
Simplified scenario:
You have two cars. One an Innova and another a WagonR. You need to carry 4 persons from point A to point B. You can use either of the two vehicles. The WagonR designed to seat 4/5 will be performing better, in terms of fuel efficiency compared with the Innova which is designed to carry 7 persons and so, will have 4 empty seats.

In this case of voltage stabilizers, the difference will not be as large as given in the simplified example.

I checked yesterday - my present fridge stabilizer is indeed the spare AC one :)
