Can play DVD, but cannot copy

I am not even sure this is one of those copy protected / region locked DVDs. All I have is an NTSC DVD which plays fine when I play it on my computer. However when I try copying it, it just fails. I tried Tera Copy, DVD Fab, DVD Decrypter, RipIt4Me, and Magic DVD with their default settings, and it failed in all of them.

How am I supposed to go about this? I am perplexed by the fact that it plays, but doesn't copy on the computer.
 
Each of the tools were throwing a read error.

I however managed to run this. Last time I used RipIt4Me, it failed. That time I had used the Wizard option. This time I opted for the 1 click option, and it did everything for me. This tool makes use of DVD Decrypter, so I don't know what settings it passed to DVD Decrypter as this time it ripped the DVD without any issue. I tried ripping it again directly from DVD Decrypter but was unsuccessful. In short, RipIt4Me seems to be like the AutoGK for ripping.

Glad you made it after all. Clean your dvd files using this : Free DVD

Free DVD removes several protections from a DVD folder on the hard disk. It removes region code (RC), region code enhancement (RCE), analog copy protection, and user operation prohibitions (UOPs). You can use it to get a free DVD before you burn the DVD folder.

Cool, will try that out too. In fact, RipIt4Me too has this feature where it strips the copy protection related bits from the DVD files after they have been ripped to the disc.
 
RipIt4Me has another tool which is FixVTS, this tool fixes the actual vob file in case of any error, usually time-sync
PS: Use reps instead of likes
 
Lol, instead of getting into all this copying low quality shitty VOB files from a DVD, download same high quality stuff off the internet dude. I thought you have some family videos on it rofl.

^ Well these are stuff which is not available on BR anyway. So the rips that I get online are the same as the ones that I will be getting. IN addition, these DVDs are free ka maal, so while one track depends on this, the other track is busy downloading BR rips where available :D
