Can PSP 3004 be modded ?

Had a big doubt as well as a case with me of a friend of mine who hasnt been able to mod it .. well .. i was asking if PSP 3004 an be modded or not ?? and if it can be modded .. please guide me step by step how to do it .. thanks a lot in advance .. cheers ..!!
