Forum Feedback Can the admins Read PMs ?

I was kinda shocked when i learnt this at another site. Was wondering if the admins have enabled that privilege for themselves. I don't have an issue with them being read. But was wondering if it was so here .

Is even a hack needed for that? Guess its accessible otherwise to.. To answer ur question yes bad admins can do

it need not be bad. there are times it comes in useful, say if a sale goes bad, and opposing claims are raised by both parties. only if the admins can check the pm's can they verify who is telling the truth

Having said that , the mods are in no way obligated to settle a deal gone bad , though they may do so out of goodwill
