I'm relatively new to the smartphone area and therefore please pardon the faults in the information that i have. I'd like to know if the I-Phone can be unlocked as in can it be used with providers like BSNL, Vodafone down here in India ? I've heard purchasing the phone on a contract basis or something but dunno much about it. Also the Samsung galaxy Epic 4G has been released by Sprint . Does it mean that the phone will be available only to U.S Customers ?? What about ppl in other countries(India in my case)?

1. Yes, the iPhone 4 can be unlocked - check the details here. Can also buy Factory Unlocked items from the "grey market" or order it online through eBay, etc.
2. I'm sure the Galaxy Epic 4G will also be available in the grey market in a few weeks, if not already. Plus, it should be launched here too, eventually.
