Can there be a new notification system in TE ?

As in if a thread is opened the OP keeps getting notifications about new posts.

Also if someone has posted something and some other user quotes it then a notification is sent.

Maybe FB has spoiled me, but I feel it is very difficult to keep track of the threads you posted in especially in a Forum where so many threads are posted every single day.

Maybe some other users would also like this.

Yes that is I have to subscribe to each thread separately I'm talking about a system like FB which is automated.

Afaik, you get auto-subscribed if you post in a thread more than once.
