Noted many users in search of same type of product reply to same old topics . Many topics from like 2010 products are alive (but product quality is changed today).
I want to buy a 100 litre fridge for example made 5-8 years old, i reply back, ? makes no sense to all for price/company/quality

Atleast close all old questions, after certain amount of period. and give option to reply . (I DONT HAVE IN MND)
Might look foolish, but helpful.

But make an option so anyone make a new topic/question for same.
My english is donkey but meaning is good.

So any new user searching for something new comes to latest question and not goes to old question searching for 1000s of answers.
 
I can give you a counter. Same question is asked by the same person two years apart.

Example: Someone asks about buying anything (fridge, tv, ac, etc.) under some budget.
This question WAS made around 1-2-3-4-5 etc. years ago..,
now someone else comes to site or existing users, want to do needful again.
What we do is answer at best (yes agree to replies of TE community), but new user goes through old data and rubbs his mind..

Hence, a request, if anyone wants to buy something new, show them old data and then let them comment.
I have seen this on many international sites. maybe they know more..
My last reply if anyone understands..
 
Well I have replied to my own thread after years and nobody responded. And the moment I opened a new thread replies started pouring in.
Question is Who likes stale??
