AdblockPlus used to be good many years back... for the past 4-5 years most of its users have moved to uBlockOrigin.

I won't say 'most' users. ABP is installed by people who don't know much about the whole situation. And people just simply search ad block and this is the first thing get which is then installed. uBlock Origin is not the top result. Any ABP users just stick with it since they don't know about any better tool. Poor souls.
