Forum Feedback Can we have facebook type notification / alert in the browser tab?

Hey guys,

As the topic says, many a times I have missed an alert or seen it late, cause the current system is not visible enough, is it possible to add a number (total notifications) in brackets, similar to other sites, I feel this would be really helpful.

I dint find this in the feedback section, hence created a new thread, sorry if its already been discussed.

The IPB based solution was a lot more noticeable.

Ah interesting. This is better that the crap we saw earlier. Let me explore it further and if everything checks out we can have it.
