Can we mod a PSP with a non functional UMD drive??

Hey guys.The UMD drive on ma PSP is not reading UMDs no more. Dunno wats the prob..... I highly doubt the lens crapped out coz i rarely used the drive as i only had one UMD,that was the demo one that i may have used abt 5-6 times at the most.

So will I be able to get it modded even tho the UMD drive is not working ??

Also wat are the prices of origianl & fake 4GB and 8GB MS Pro Duo cards?both sony and sandisk?. Which one is better?

You you can get it modded without any problem...

I suggest you get only the original MSPD... Sandisk is better 'coz you will get the 5 years warranty & less chances of fake...

4GB should be ~ 1.7k & is available in the Market Section...
