If you are the hit and run types you are better off with a http downloads.
i.e third party hosting sites like rapidshare,megaupload,filesonic,fileserve,wupload, mediafire etc.
Using torrents has its advantages but you have to be considerate enough to keep your system on to seed the torrents.
