Can you suggest a powerful Wi-Fi router ?

so long to meet t.e again
i have move to MALAYSIA for some higher education and part time job where i stay at my dad's friend house
i have some bad problem at the old WI-FI router (DI-524 High Speed 2.4GHz (802.11g) Wireless Router ) D-Link High Speed 2.4GHz (802.11g) Wireless Router

the signal is very weak upto 5-10 meter
so i need to update the router with upto 8-15 meter budget 200-399 $

so please provide link and review abou the routher or sudget the wif-fi router with broad adsl no problem hyeah:

where i use 4 laptop 1 pc with wifi ready but poor singal and low download speed

if the same routers that you have gives you an option to upgrade the antennas .... just upgrade to a long range antennas ... the range will increase. There are a lot of tricks out there on the internet that describe devices you can build to increase the range of your wi-fi router. But there's another solution: just buy another antenna. Most wi-fi routers have removable antennas. And a very easy way to increase the range of your wi-fi signal is to take off the cheap antenna it comes with and replace it with a better antenna. There are a lot of good models out there in the 1000-1400 range. It's not as cheap as building something yourself, but it is a far more reliable way to increase the range of your wi-fi antenna

I suggest you to move to draft-N standard.

with good range and speeds.

but your laptop should also be compatible with draft-N.

this can also be achieved by adding a usb/PCMCIA draft-N wi-fi adapter.

so once done.you are blessed with great range and speeds.

for this purpose i suggest this router:Netgear DG834GT

Checked Linksys WRT160N and Also check Linksys 610. Both are draft N and good routers, later being double the cost.
