cannot access internet after flashing tomato on WHR-G125

oh yea you need ot change them..disconnect the dsl and then change the IP address range of the router to say, 192.168.10.x series.

Assign the router a static IP address, say 192.168.1.2

Also do a DMZ onto the above IP address on the dsl.

Also please note that tomato on g125 doesnt seem to support intel 2100/220 series wifi chips, so lookout if you have any lappies with these chipsets.

1) Disconnect the modem and the router.

2) Access the setup page of the router using the default 192.168.1.1 IP.

3) Look for an option to change the LAN/Local IP of the router. Change it to 10.10.10.1 Never worked with this router so I don't know the exact option you would have to look for, but I'm sure some kind soul here would be able to give you exact instructions on where you need to go to change the LAN IP!!

4) Connect the modem and the router and power-cycle both of them.

You should be able to go online after this.

do i have to change one of these?

Dude you are "bhejafrying" both of them over the ip address ownership. It's like you have two wives and you are telling them both that they are the prettiest... in front of each other... did you expect them to obey you? ... I know its a bad pj... but am too lazy to delete now...
