my pc specs:

i3 4150
4gb ram
gtx 750ti
wih 10 pro

i not getting plus 30 fps in any game. i was playing grid auto sport on my pc with overall settings at medium and still not getting 30+ fps. In this game, actually in all games, the gpu is not getting out of thermal limit or being used completely and it is the same case with the cpu and ram too the ram is getting used 75% tops.

but it was not like this always. when i had win 8.1 installed first grid ran on my pc on ultra on 720p with no problem but after some time, say 1month, the performance degraded and even then i all the resources were not being utilized completely. i used cc cleaner freed my hdd space but still the same story.
 
- Update nvidia driver. Uninstall old one and do a clean install.

- Disable Xbox Game DVR if it is on.

- Add game folders to firewall and antivirus exclusion rules

Grid Autosport is a fairly new game, have you tried some old ones?
 
i followed the steps as jc36 suggested. the framerate improved but still the game is not playable. i have tried some old games like alan wake and it is the same problem with them too.
 
How is your RAM usage? Alt tab out from a game and check task manager. Just noticed the 4 gigs with Win 10, might be bit of a stretch.
 
What is the graphics card driver version? I read somewhere that a newer version of nVidia driver screws the graphics card. See if this is the cause of your issue.

Try resetting the 3d settings of the driver through nVidia control panel and see if it helps. or else download an older version of the driver and use it. My driver version is 361.43, it performs good.
 
Yes, the fans usually. Heavy dust on the pcb also causes problems. I have to vacuum my PC once a month, there's too much dust accumulation in Bangalore.
