Even after the Rebate the prices are way to high. I got the canon EOS-40D with lense for 28k. Also got a free 2gb card + 1 canon printer + 1 canon Bag included.

28k is impossibly low for an EOS 40D considering just the body alone averages atleast 900$+ :S

P.s: TechHead, the canoga link seems to list all the cams/kits as temporarily out of stock too.

@Eddy - yep, noticed that right now. Try bhphoto, beachcamera, adorama, amazon.. all authorised Canon dealers.

The downside of these rebates is that currently the rupee has weakened against the dollar....so the rebates don't actually help us as of now...

when, where from, which shop? the 400d costs about 35k with kit lens, the 450d costs abt 48k with kit lens and 40D abt 67k with kit lens. if u really bought a canon 40d for so less you could start a GO here. i'm sure abt 25 ppl would be ready to buy it. :bleh:
