Cant find cowon D2 in lamington.

I need cowon D2 for myself but no one has even heard name of this company on lamington road, mumbai. :S
I need it quick....like right now, where to buy? :ashamed:

Also is cowon an officially recognized brand in india? If not, then i will get a creative zen.

last time i heard was 11.5k for a 4GB

i am sure there would have been a Price Drop

I called on that number and she told me to call up Mr. Sonu, and he quoted 9k all inclusive. Should i go ahead or the 4k iam spending more on D2 is not worthy(i will buy Creative Zen otherwise).

This is so tough or is it just me? My heart says go ahead with cowon but my brain tells me to be logical and buy creative zen. Only difference is UI and touch screen.....

I am open to more replies, i will buy (---|--) tomorrow.

Cowon D2 is a good player but it's touch screen navigation is a bit annoying.It's difficult to operate comfortably while in your pocket.Some people might like it but i never did.All i would say is try before you buy.

Frankly, if u do not want to spend that much cash then don't. Buy the Zen and be done with it.

Make ur decisions based on ur usage levels, For eg. if you would be using ur player more often at work/gym/train/bus/home/while studing etc.

Sound quality - unless u havent heard either player, u cannot compare.

Features - Look at he features, if there is something in either player which u really need then its a no brainer as to which player to pick.

Go ahead and njoy your purchase, whichever it maybe. and do post back with what you bought.

Thanks so much chic magnet for ur advice. It really helps man. I am still not very clear. Maybe i will go with 8k and see if they give me the cowon D2.

Things which are missing in the zen and bothering me are TV-out, FM recording, touch screen.

Today is the day, i will let u know what i bought and maybe even write a review this weekend.

BTW, someone tell me which alfa to go? Juhu or andheri? and is it alpha or alfa? Because everyone on TE says alfa but i visited "alpha" on lamington and he told me that theirs is a branch of alpha in andheri?

firstly..

its not Alpha.. its Alfa.

and its not in Juhu. Alfa is in Irla Gully which roughly falls midway between Vile Parle station & Andheri station.

take a rick from either of those places and ask the rickwala to take you to Irla Gully.. ask anyone in Irla Gully for Alfa. they'll guide you

Nice buy Alladin. Enjoy what is (IMO) the best media player you could get for that kind of money. Wait till you try the movie playback. You will stop listening to songs.
