Graphic Cards Cant Install Drivers... 7950GX2

Hey guys..

I cant seem to Install Drivers for my 7950GX2..

My Config is as follows..

Pentium D 820 ..

Asus P5LD2..

Asus 7950GX2..

1GB DDR2-533 RAM..

I guess nothing else matters.

I install the Drivers.. But nothing happens.. In Settings it shows "Default Monitor on " thats it.. Nothing else.

The nVidia Folder is created in the C:\ and it install properly as well.

The 7950GX2 was detected properly as well.

Used the 91.27 Drivers on the CD.. And 91.3* from the nVidia site as well.

None work.

Is it a Compatabilty issue with my Mobo?

Could it be a BIOS problem?
 
Kido, after doing the normal driver cleaner stuff.(you have done that haven't you ?)

1) check and update the m/b bios (if applicable)

and /or

2) update the sata / raid HDD drivers

2a) do as other members will suggest in the interim period.
if no go
3) "repair" install XP SP2 (this will reset the directx too)

edit: it has already been suggested by Karan before i could type my reply ...:clap:

edit 2: ur chipset drivers needs installing too from the screenie you posted.
 
lol also make sure u install ur CHIPSET drivers before you put the display ones,to drop ur worried a bit do em thuis way

egghatly :hap2: was about to post this

Adi install the intel shipset drivers before installing the nvidia drivers :)
 
^^ Yeah, but now his board isn't posting itself.

And btw, its wasnt a driver issue, its just that his older BIOS wasnt compatible with the 7950, hence the problems ;)
