can't seem to upload pics to any image sites ?

helus people!

alright messa got a problem wherein i cant upload pics anywhere ... i cant upload pics as attachments either here or at FE nor can i upload pics on an imagehosting site...

tried imageshack/tinypic/photobucket till now... they all get stuck on that uploading thing.. and dont move forward.... as if the pic aint uploading atall!

wat the hell! .what do i do??

and i have tried both browsers FF and IE and its the same problem on both

improperly configured firewalls?

are images the only thing? try uploading some sort of other file to your email account or rapidshare or something

damn just realised.. i cant seem to upload anything.. anywhere.. :-s... be it torrents/images/ or files ...

i'm using kaspersky anti hacker and kaskpersky antivirus ... my windows firewall is disabled... so now what?

in antihacker i have allowed all the services that i know can download/upload... so what else could be the problem?? isp issues?

in zonealarm you had to enable something called generic processes for win32 blah blah bla...dunno abt kapersky there might be some crucial process you've still left blocked

i still havent been able to figure out what it is .. and its really bugging now.. cause like in torrents i cant seem to upload atall!! due to which my download speed suffers greatly...(i dont have any nat issue, i can get remote connections too)

what do i do?? :s

in kaspersky i have all the things enabled that have to be enabled(enabled for inbound and outbound connections)

if you've enabled EVERYTHING, there isnt a point running a firewall :bleh:

hmm try uninstalling kapersky and see if the prob still shows up?

alternately, it could be a hardware problem. your modem could have a problem sending an upstream signal..

EDIT: but hey... youre browsing... any issues browsing /chatting?

neah no issues browsing and chatting and download either..

and with enabled i meant... all the imp stuff. and esp the torrent client.. allow it all inbound and outbound connections..

and hmm yeah maybe hardware. `ill try with another router and see

btw the problem did persist with kaspersky uninstalled too..

alright the wierdest thing has happened... i have just enabled encryption right now in azureus. my uploads in azureus are going at full speed( 30KB) and not onlythat .. i can upload images everywhere, transfer stuff on msn, webpages are opening well( i couldnt even open any webpages during day for last few days) .. !! wierd.. but i`m not complaining...

PS- mtnl doesnt have any traffic shaping measures does it? cause encryption shouldnt have helped if it didnt anyways.. if it does.. then hmm i`m suspicious?
