Cant share any of the folders in Win 7 partiton under WIN 7 - plz help

Hello guys,

All of a sudden I cant share any of the folders in a particular partition (where win 7 is installed) . Don’t know whats the reason. But I am able to do so in other partition folders. Checked for spyware/malware and I am using bitdefender AV.
Also tried creating a new folder and shared it. But the share functionality is not working in that partition. I am just getting a message without any description or error code. “your folder cant be sharedâ€.

Plz help me guys…

No, after booting to Win 7.

I have set a password. First of all password creation is mandatory in Win 7 /vista i guess, Then how could there be a possibility to login without setting a password ??

Yes i do. Actually its my movie folder where i used to store my downloaded movies. It was already shared under win7. Recently when i browsed for this folder form my client PC its not visible. So when i verified if there is anything wrong with the sharing of this folder and attempted to share it again ,i got message that i cant share this folder. I even created new folders and none of them are shareable... plz help.... Is this is a bug in win 7 ??

Finally solved it myself :). Just restored default policy under windows firewall. Now share functionality restored...
