no. even if you could , it would be cheaper to get an mp3 player instead.

and as long as you're getting something new, get a pioneer :D

It is not that cheap 7k for pioneer, and 6k for sony. my cd palyer is working great

you can look at jvc otherwise, with bill and warranty it costs 5k (mrp)
 
what model is your player ? it might have inputs in the rear for a CD changer you can connect an mp3 player to :D
 
If your Head Unit has got a aux in, use an mp3 player with it or else use an FM transmitter and MP3 player.
Its not worth converting the Head Unit to an mp3 player. Even if its possible, I dont think you can find a person to do it.
 
The best thing I have seen is a FM transmitter powered by the cigarette lighter socket- this gadget has a USB socket into which U can attach a memory stick/pen drive, as well as aux socket. Just tune your CD player and this gadget costing Rs. 1k will transmit all your MP3 songs to your existing CD player. Works well & is price effective.
