My old setup
1) Alpine CDE110 (HU has only 2 channel preamp out (Rear))
2) Bull Audio CS 650 (Front Door)
3) Bull Audio COA 650 (Rear Door)
My mid week impulse had me buy
4) Focal Auditor r4280 (Only RCA input)
5) Hertz ECX 690
The Issue
As the HU has only 2 channel preout.
- So the installer paired 2 and 3 and set on 1 split RCA
- And Ovals 5 on the other split RCA.
The issue is, I have lost Fade. After reading a lot, I came to know about LOC (Line output converters). However, there are some reviews that amplified(HU)-attenuated(LOC)-amplified(AMP) leads to sound quality loss and even a flatter output
