One more question: in mpc player, if we do ctrl+j, it shows a graph with green and red lines. In best case scenario,.how should it be? Should the lines be like tiny symmetrical waves?
I read somewhere what those lines are but can't recollect it properly. Something to do with gpu. Right now in my current card in some scenes, the green line goes to top of screen, disappears and then falls back to the red line which is always stable. This happens with evr-cp only even if I use inbuilt filters of mpc.

Same happen when cpu utilisation is > 95% in my case, otherwise waves are stable below 70% cpu usage.

Facing some decoding issues only sometimes when playing dvd resolution xvid files upscaled to full HD resolution.

This happens only in some scenes like I can see only outline of what should be there. Example: if an anime character moves her head, I can see pixellation around head and frame freezes for 1-2 seconds. If I rewind and play same scene, it plays perfectly. Even if I shutdown pc, or play another movie or anime and come back to first anime to try to reproduce that error I cant get it.

Tried all sorts of things in madvr. Currently settings are chroma is spline 100%, up scaling and down scaling are both lancoz at 70. Gpu load is around 25% and CPU same 20-25%. Tried lowering gpu and cpu queue sizes to 8 and back buffer to 4. Noticed that back buffer falls to zero at these times. CPU and gpu queues are always full.

In Lav video decoder, in hardware decoder options, all three options of none, dxva native or copy back don't make any difference.
I even overclocked CPU, thinking cpu might be slow, since madvr was struggling in playing 1080p files in full resolution without frame drops and freezing screen for few seconds. Overclocking helped a lot and I don't get more than 20 frame drops in entire episode.

In madvr, I tried from lowest to highest setting in upscaling options except bilinear and nearest neighbour. Still get this partially decoded frame only in xvid files. Is it some bug in decoder?
Tried with evr sync, evrcp and can't reproduce it. Tried with internal mpchc decoders and can't reproduce it. Can't figure out if its lav decoder or madvr. Madvr only renders decoded images right? I have unchecked the three decoding options in madvr settings.

yep! try with lav decoder and use evr-cp for display. See if it happens. If it doesn't, looks like a bug in madvr.

Strange cos I've never experienced such an issue.

Tried all settings. I get that issue only when using madvr. Seems some bug in handling xvid videos. Funny thing is it happens only in slow motion scenes.
I'll try with an older version to see if I get the same issue.
