Receiver is being quoted almost at the same price in India too.ICC doesn't reply to any of my queries for quotes.

I am yet to receive the ICC Quotes for the knives. I guess even my queries are unreplied to (like raptor3624) as I had asked them for a quote last time & not purchased due to the exorbitant shipping charges (650 for a 2$ keypad)..... :mad:

Cart was more expensive by 39 Rupees compared to 20North!!!

You can try ICC's PPO service!

They charge like $6 a Lb for 10Lbs international shipping + some service tax and stuff!
 
^^ I think ICC has blacklisted me or something.

Just coz I refused to pay 650 shipping for a 2$ item.....!!! :mad:

anybody here has any experience ordering a laptop (or other high value item) via aramex ? I am thinking about ordering a model which is just not available in india. The shipping charges they r asking for look fine but I am worried about customs. :(

Be warned, they are very unreliable and erratic with shipments and delays.
Sometimes some things come quickly, sometimes they dont, couple of times I had to to go to their office to pay customs and pick it up myself. And once the item was not delivered for 2 weeks even when it was in India.
I moved quickly to something better. Its cheap, but its unreliable.
 
^ Oh ok. My package reached them on Dec 2nd Morning and by evening I was already alloted the tracking number and item was shipped from UK to Mumbai. Lets see how it goes.

cart2india has the Nook Color for 15.8k. It has been rooted, and is now a decent Android tablet. Not bad, considering the going rate in the US is 249$.

yeah right!! planning to buy it but NOTION Ink is really taking a long time..what you say?? should I wait for notionink or go for nook color??
 
The Head @ aramex is very helpful. Very fast in communications etc., Plan to order something thru them . Lets see what Xmas throws up on ebay etc/.
 
^ I would agree with that, opened an account one morning and call before noon for any help I need to shop and clarifications about duty et all, great start, hope the real deal(trouble free shipping) goes smoothly.
 
Well, I had placed an order on 28 Nov. Haven't got it till now. The deadline for the product to reach me was 13 Dec. Received a SMS that the item has been cleared by customs today. (14 Dec). So I guess he'll deliver sometime this week. 18th Dec is the deadline for me to confirm receipt of the item else I'll raise a refund claim.
