Cartoonist Mario Miranda dies :(

Cartoonist Mario Miranda died at his residence in Loutolim, Goa today. He was 85 years old.

Mr Miranda's work appeared in many leading publications.

He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2002, and Padma Shri in 1988.

p.s. just few days back i had visited Cafe Mondegar, in Colaba where Miranda's cartoons graced the walls.
