Looking for a cover/case for Galaxy K Zoom

GMYLE soft case

Autopop cover from Amazon.in

I wanted something similar to the Autopop one ut the colour options available (just red and white) are not good. There are other colours available internationally for these autopop covers but for some reason not in India.

Does anyone here have anything available for the K Zoom?

I'm in the same boat as you. The GMYLE case is not available here. And the auto-pop cover doesn't have a black variant. This is from Amazon USA, but I believe it ships to India -

even after you consider the shipping and duty, the price should be less than what you'd pay for the auto-pop cover.
imuca is rubbish!

There are two options here, either the official samsung k zoom case which does not cover the lens but is light and comes in black. But its not sold in India (!)

or the autopop which is excellent and is available. The photos they have on the site do not really give a feel for it. Its much better looking IRL.

white means harder to see fingerprints on the glossy back. Over one month now with this case and its worked out well, saved me from a small drop. Practical, no worrying over whether to place screen up or down. Well made.

The leather cases are lighter but i don't care much for their design.

^ Thanks for the reply. It would have been so much better jf we could just get a feel of it in stores.
I will have to wait for a while now, as missus is leaving for her ' 'Maayka' tomorrow. I have 15 days now to look for a good case/cover.

He says its bulky but the weight is 35gms.

The lanyard isn't very nice though, am on the lookout for something else.

Hopefully one with a little metal in it that makes it easy to slip your hand into and is a little smaller. Have not needed one yet though.

Nice. It shows out of stock now.
Btw, how is the case? It would be nice if you could list a few pros and cons.

When I got it, I was a bit apprehensive as there is no way to secure the lens cap in such a way that a light tug won't remove the cap. But after using it for a day, it deesn't seem that big of a deal. I figured the cap may come loose when putting the phone in my pocket or taking it out, but so far that's not happening. Can't say how it will behave in the long run.

The product description doesn't say so, but you can easily use the camera without removing the lens cover - although sometimes the cover comes a bit loose when you do that frequently. And that's the main reason why I feel they should've designed the case in such a manner that you can fasten the lens cover over the lens (by using a lip along the edge of the cover which can go underneath the phone cover). The cover does not appear in photos taken with the phone even if no zoom is used.

Regarding looks, I'm not sure what you're looking for; but it's adequate for my needs. I have a black coloured phone and wanted a black cover, so the auto-pop cover from Samsung was out.
Since the lens cover is separate from the rest of the phone case, you could probably use it with other covers as well - like this one -

Considering that 21 cases were sold by this seller on Ebay in a month, I'm pretty sure it will be back in stock. And ebay has the advantage that you can contact the seller to enquire if and when it will be in stock.

Didn't realise the lens cap was detachable. Had seen a photo with just the cap on without the case and wondered how it had been done.

So it depends how long the cap can hold on. Also i wonder how long the cutouts can remain flush with the cap over time. Will it start to protrude later and interfere with holding.

Am partial to a black case but with the only option being the unavailable official samsung which does not cover the lens meaning you need to periodically clean out any dust or grime made me settle with the auto pop. Its saved me twice from falls. the bumper is a proper bumper, i doubt yours or others would offer that much protection for the sides.

So the utility of the case for protection outweighs its ability to modify looks. Colour is a moot point. The only thing you have to get used to is a tighter shutter button, it loosens over time.

Useless case, no lip to protect the front screen, can't even tell how well it fits given how photoshopped the display image is. No protection for the lens either.
