I guess so, but the CDMA plan that I have is perhaps the cheapest you can get-especially for STD calls. Hence the need for a CDMA/GSM phone. Even if the CDMA network goes off, there will be GSM to fall back on using the same phone.Hi,
Just FYI, Tata is also planning to close their CDMA networks soon. It will be doing this with certain circle initially and then the latter.
