Ceiling Fan & American Hook? Suggestion pls?

Hello Friends,

Till today in my room electrician fit 2 ceiling fan by Digging Ceiling (upper slab) in 5x5 size find out the iron road (where 2 road cross each other) hang the one side of S shape hook on ROAD and than plaster the Hole/open area and than hang the fan on another part of Hook.

Now today when I call him, he said that above is OLD METHOD and now all people prefer to use "American Hook†to install ceiling fan.

I'm worried about the FAN + FAN SPEED and load, I suspect that might the fan will collapsed and a disaster took place, but my electrician said it will not collapse not will do any harm.

So what you all say about installing Ceiling FAN using American Hook? Is it advisable to use American Hook? What method do you use to hook Ceiling fan?

Kindly suggest more.
