Forum Feedback Changes and improvement to TE that I want to see

From our side we would prefer if you guys posted more discussion threads as it keeps the momentum going which I feel has slowed down a bit due to lesser google traffic than before so lesser new members.
Any idea why it happened. I don't recall any policy changes of late to influence it. Unless it had to do with the new forum software you recently installed.

Upside to that is that we get much less spam and only focused members.
I know forums where the discussion is intense and focused with just around 20-30 hard core regulars. A few new members drop in from time to time, then the momentum shifts back to the regulars.

I can think of only two reasons. There were constant policy changes at google over the last year which is taking its effect. The change in URL with the forum software change and some redirects which did not take effect.

Lets aspire towards that then. As long as the discussions are intense and focused it does not really matter whether there are 1000 members or 100 members participating.

When you click on 'Watched threads' it leads to only Unread threads. I want to see both unread and read. Can this be implemented ?

Yeah why was the forum page changed? This new one is ridiculous. And why f**k around with it every few months? The previous one was ACE!

Apologies if this comes across as rude.

Well I can't find thread tools to close my for sale thread. Also in a sale thread, once I post the thread I can no longer edit the title in future. That is kinda a bummer.
You can edit a thread from the thread tools dropdown on the top right of a thread. You can also now close/open your market threads from the link on the top right next to thread tools.

The "new look" and formatting makes stuff much harder to read. Preferred the old one.

Update: Experimented with the available skins. Finally settled on Metro...

That has been removed and all threads moved to feedback section. We didn't need a dedicated section for that anymore.

Avoid enforcing mobile "friendly", layout. Some people like to see desktop layout even on the mobile. I am on boat browser with desktop client setting and am suffering.[DOUBLEPOST=1398342165][/DOUBLEPOST]Besides the for sale thread there can be an interest check thread where posting rules are slacker.

There is no enforcing of mobile friendly layout. Its your screen width which determines how the forum loads. If it is large enough then it will load fully. You can check that by changing the orientation.

I think we should be able to select the category of the product while creating a WTB thread, just like FS threads

It's quite difficult to distinguish between normal text and links/tags while using Sepia Responsive theme/UI. Can something be done about it? Notice how the links and tags stand out in default theme:
