@Vagabond : Just a little bit of intra-day trading for fun. About 20 to 30k , nothing much. Just for learning purposes. Have never invested in equity before so a very user friendly software for buying selling is preferable
Have accounts with sbi and icici , but i guess going by peeople's feedback, its better to avoid them?

Well, as a beginner I would suggest not to start with trading but investing.

having account with icici gives you benefit of opening with them as cash transfer are very quick in it, else sharekhan is good for your medium requirements. They have reasonable brokerage charges. As per charges icici is costlier than most
