Windows Changing WinRAR associated file type icons

I am trying to change winrar associated file type icons so that each icon will be different, I followed the guide linked below but it isn't working. Can someone find out what should be done to make it work?

Hello!

The article seems to be pretty old. I am not wizard, but either how Winrar or Windows or both handle icons could have changed.

Have you tried this?
