Charged Rs. 49 for something by Tata Docomo.

I received following message today at 1:41 am.

I immediately called customer care and talked to some n00b only to be told that it's a common problem,we are working on it,I don't have details right now,call after 4 hours... blah blah blah...

While talking to him I also received this message as I had chosen option to receive details of last 5 transactions:

C-Care: Hi! Ur last 5 Calls & SMS deduction details are :1. Rs 49.0 for Data Usg On 26/02/2012,

Now, I've been trying since morning to call CC and talk to somebody but apparently all of their representatives are busy.

What should I do? Wait till midnight so I might talk to them? Go to Docomo gallery(I don't want to as there isn't one nearby. I'll have to go there tomorrow while going to or coming from college) and demand refund?

A Google search revealed I am not only one facing this problem.
 
Yep. You are not the only one... When I had docomo, I used to get charged frequently for this 'something' service as well.

'Something' is an excellent service. The best part is that you never know what it really is!!

After enjoying the 'benefits' of the 'Something' service of Docomo for a few days, I finally threw the card into the dustbin. But I do miss the 'Something' service!!

P.S.: Please switch to another service provider that doesn't provide the 'Something' service!
 
Immediately call up the CC and tell them to reverse charges else you will complain to TRAI as you did not recieve any sms asking for confirmation of the service.

I had this same issue, was charged 120 bucks for Caller tunes

They immediately reversed it.
 
threw the docomo card in dustbin after giving them my photo id etc more than twice and still they kept asking me for it. all that time card had a recharge of 98 from me and all the incoming and outgoing calls were stopped by them.
 
In my experience docomo although charges us, it refund it back too if it was informed, unlike failtel and idea where they are adamant that I have subscribed for the service and nothing can be done now!!!
 
very true failtel will never refund... i am still on it coz most of my school and college friends are using it
 
In my case first time I also get my money back but the second time was not lucky.After this start the DND service,no service or something isn't charged until now.

VF refunds. You have to tweet them. But Reliance & Airtel never refunded. Idea people didn't even bothered to pick up the call
