Hi,
One of my friend's Intel Stock Cooler's fan not working.
He LF new cooler.
He don't OC.
And don't like the mechanism of Intel Stock Coolers.
Please suggest.
Should he buy old Intel OEM Stalk Cooler again ?
Many people never used their new cooler cos they use after market cooler like CM Hyper 212.
So,they might sell those for cheap.:D

@Revolution, does this mean that he dislikes the push-pin system of Intel stock (not stalk) cooler OR just dislikes the cooler design as a whole.

Check in the Member's Market for Hyper 212+ / TX3 (on sale) OR get any of these new coolers. Cheerio!

Yea,the push-pin system.
Hyper 212+ / TX3 not gonna fit in his case.
And old Frontech case which not so wide.

Thanks!
Guess no choice except the push-pin system.
Spending so much on a cooler good idea ?
Not gonna OC CPU.
How about CM Vortex 211P or Deepcool Gamma Archer ?
They could be cheaper and not so big.

@Revolution, the Deepcool Gamma Archer is the best bet for your friend (my opinion). Has the largest fan (120mm vis-á-vis 92mm and 80mm on the other options) so should run quieter and doesn't feature the push-pin / push-screw based mounting system.

Cooler Master OEM should do just fine ( no overclocking) cost 200-250/- in mumbai
i've been using the same for 1-1.5 years

He wants one that does not have the push-pin system for mounting it.

It was on Post #1 .

Cooler master has low priced cooler which don't have push pin. i already posted previously
and i am using it.
just hearing "OEM" don't jump into conclusion, that these coolers have push pin mechanism.

I see they have substituted the push-pin with a push-screw, nothing of a great difference + the fan is still smaller than that of the Deepcool Gamma Archer. Also the mounting system on the latter is better in my opinion.

DEEPCOOL - CPU Cooler - GAMMA ARCHER -- Comes with a small tube of TIM + a converter RIG for the Intel socket.

Stop getting excited, shall I say that to you.

OP didn't ask that he wants small tube of TIM and converter RIG for the Intel socket.
the cooler master one is for Intel 775 socket. it comes whatever required for installation.

As a forum people give information what they know.
its better for him to know about the options. Let OP decides what ever wants.

i think you better need not to get excited, quoting each and everybody's post.

Can anyone confirm followings are 4pin or 3pin ?
Doesn't matter push pin.
All should be comes with accessories so that fitting on a Intel Socket 775 Motherboard will no problem.
BTW,those push pin(not the heatsink or fan) separately available in local market ?

get this cooler ,
Cooler Master DI5-9HDSL-0L-GP Cooling Fan - DI5-9HDSL-0L-GP by: Cooler
Cooler Master DI5-9HDSL-0L-GP Cooler | Cooler | Flipkart.com
this has a screw fitting mechanism. also this is for 65w processor. so if you have core 2quad you cannot use it.
i am using this for my core2duo. working fine

Cheapest CM OEM Cooler got no push-pin system I guess.
And its Rs.275/-.
But don't know exactly Gamma Archer push-pin or other system.
