Please help me!
I'm using net on PC using my GPRS mobile Nokia 2700C.
But.I don't wanna damage my mobile.
Is there any cheap alternative way ?
I don't wanna spend much.
I have no fixed plan ATM.
I change Aitel,Reliance and Aircel after a month.
Currently using Reliance 99 plan.

They cost almost like mobile phones though.

And I'm spending Rs.100/- for 2GB ATM,AFAIK 3G is too costly for me.....:(

Can I able to use the above cheap GPRS plan on those DATA card u have mentioned above ?

With 3g around the corner to be available from other players makes more sense to get this one.

Yep,I can understand what u want to say but today's 3G beyond poor ppl like me.
I mean if I manage to buy that 3G DATA card some how but the cost of tariff are totally beyond my budget.
The only good plan is Rs.1399 from BSNL prepaid,then don't know that is true prepaid or like other LAN prepaid trick that is not prepaid like normal mobile prepaid plan.
The DATA limit plans totally sucks ATM.
I mean TATA Dcomo 2GB GPRS @Rs.48 but for BSNL 3G 2GB for Rs.572.....:ashamed:

See i mean to say when other operators launch 3g. You may see more competitive pricing.

The price diff for those for edge only would be some hundred bucks.

So 3g ones make sense.

Also you use reliance prepaid right?

That hardly costs anything.

Anyways since you are using reliance upto now, You can very well use it on this card.

Rest is your decision.

I am using my reliance connection on my Se phone. Though not 24/7. It is sufficient since i browse on my mobile too.

Or else buy a secondhand mobile for your needs.

Cam I use Reliance SIM with this plan on those 3G DATA cards ?

Or should I wait for 3-4 months for price drop ?

they would be competitive when more players come in for sure.
and you can use reliance as well as any sim on that data cards.
apart from some which operate on only one frequency of 3G( i do not know how other 3G operators would come on which frequency)
you can use it for your 2.5G (edge) needs.

BTW DOCOMO gives 6GB for 98 bucks. then why reliance :S
 
Never used Docomo before,heard they don't have good network in my area.
But,I'm happy to hear that any 2G SIM can be used at those data cards...
 
There are some USB dongle modems available on eBay which work on 2G/2.5G/3G SIM, you can go for those. Those accepting only 2G are cheaper than the one accept both. Some are there with Dialing & sms facilities also, by which you can turn your PC or Lapy into a cellphone.

I think I should wait a little for price drop for both Data card and 3G.

ATM these are not VFM at least for me.....:(

I have to use my Nokia 2700C at least for now..........
