PC Peripherals Cheap and VFM Printer

Hi

i am a freelancer work, working in insurance and tax audit sector

i want a cheapest and VFM printer for my work, i take around 5 pages per day print out, it will be good if i get a scanner also,

and please suggest what will be good inkjet or laserjet

my budget is Rs 1500 /- or best possible cheap

Pickup the cheapest canon. They are the least fussy of the lot and the carts last the longest in my experience. Epsons are good too but cost a bit more.

HPs are strictly avoidable.

Canon will cost you more than Epson in the long term, unless you take the hassle of going for CISS and such changes.
Go for a used Epson, refills can be done anywhere, even at home if you are keen enough, Simple Black Ink, 80 ml should cost you about 140 Rs if you intend to refill yourself, and should last 6-7 refills as well.

Also, ensure the type of cartridge needed by the printer is easily refillable. It should not have one of the newer non-resetable chips, which will force you to buy either new/ 3rd party cartridges. Google more on this as well.

Best is to look at the local DTP/cybercafe centres and find out what they use. Get a used laserjet else.
